The Auxiliary meets on the second Wednesday of the month, September through May.  Meetings are held at the Post Clubrooms and begin at 7:30 p.m. A light lunch is served at 7:00 p.m. with the Post members.
The Auxiliary is active in many programming areas, such as American Education Week, Veterans Day programs at our local schools, Poppy sales, Flag Coloring Contest for students, and Memorial Day observance.  We support the Veteran's Home in Hastings and Veteran's Hospitals, as well as the Serviceman's Center at the Mpls-St. Paul International Airport.  We also sponsor the American Red Cross Bloodmobile in conjunction with the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post.
The Auxiliary is actively crocheting and knitting hats, fingerless gloves, quilts, neckbands and headbands for our active military.  We are also sewing laundry bags and heart pillows for our veterans.  This special project is being spearheaded by Linda Ruhland.
